Greetings, I’m Diane Perry an independent insurance broker specializing in Medicare. I’m an Oregon native, specifically SW Portland. I have two adult children (both married to fabulous mates) and three beautiful grandchildren. As cliché as it may sound, I love spending time with family. I enjoy cooking for friends and family, a good read, a bit of gardening, outdoor concerts, wine tastings, travel and kayaking in relatively still waters. . . No rapid rushing rivers!

I have a well-rounded insurance background stretching back decades where I began my career with Prudential Life Insurance company as a multi-lines agent. I spent years working with my husband conducting workshops focused on helping those nearing or in retirement prepare for and/or safeguard their retirement nest eggs.

I owned and operated a Farmers Insurance Agency for several years earning the “District Agent of the Year” award three consecutive years. While this endeavor was successful, it was not my true passion. I returned to partnering with my husband in the retirement planning segment of the industry.

In 2014 I formed Senior Focus Insurance as a Medicare Agency designed to compliment our retirement planning workshops. 2015 took an unplanned turn of events when my husband of 34 years was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Throughout the course of his illness, I served as his advocate and caregiver. This experience forged my commitment to serve the senior community in the Medicare market. I count it a privilege to educate those that are Medicare eligible, assist in selection and enrollment as well as offer excellent service to my clients. My agency has grown largely due to referral business, which is the highest compliment my clients can pay me. . . so, I must be doing something right!
